Been thinking of the real story of the "Endurance" and how the plot of "Interstellar" mirrors it. Earth's only hope of rescue is in the end (after the spacecraft "Endurance has been destroyed like Shackleton's ship"Endurance" was crushed by ice) is"Joseph Cooper" via a blackhole.  In the end the only hope of rescue  for the crew of  Shackleton's "Endurance" was the "James Caird" (J.C), a lifeboat.
